I got an email in my inbox last night to print $1 OFF Wendy’s new Sweet & Spicy Asian Chicken, or ANY of your favorite menu items. I’m sharing the love with you guys- so Click HERE to print yours!
Guys/Gals- I’m sorry to get your hopes up, but I posted this before I checked on it- and it’s not a deal that works for our region. I had my store manager check both Mayfield and Fieldcrest brand milk- and neither one of them printed out any ECB’s. If you do have Borden’s or Dean’s in your area for a cheap price though, it is worth a try! My apologies- Jamie

I have a family of 6, and we go through A LOT of milk. Almost a gallon a day, to be exact. Growing boys need their calcium- they can’t help it! So I was pumped when I found out about this sweet deal just now at CVS…..
Buy 3 Gallons of Dean’s 2% Milk or Borden’s 2% Milk (Only working on the 2%, so far as I know).
You will pay $2 per gallon, for a total of $6
You will get back $3 in ECB, making the total 99¢ each!!
It looks like it has worked for several people so far, so I’ll be trying it sometime today- I’ll let you know how it goes!
AND…. Don’t forget to print out your Post Trail Mix coupons for NEXT week’s Moneymaker!!!
(Thanks DailyEssentialsandDeals!)
Food Lion’s Home 360 party cups are on sale this week for 89¢. They have a FLIP for $1 OFF any Home 360 product, which makes these FREE! To get your FLIP:

For today’s Make-It-Cheap Monday, I thought we’d get our hands dirty. If you’re a mom, or even have to occasionally watch children, you will inevitably be plagued all summer long by the refrain, “I’m BO-ORED!” Here are a couple of tried and true distractions that will entertain not only in the playing, but in the making. And you know, they’re cheap.
Homemade Bubbles
2 1/2 quarts water
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup clear liquid dish soap(not soap for an automatic dishwasher)
Food coloring (optional)
OR
1/2 cup Dishwashing soap
4 1/2 Cup Water
4 Tablespoons glycerin (available at pharmacies)
Mix together GENTLY , and if a foam forms over the top, gently scrape it off. Poor into a large, shallow dish. Things you can use for bubble blowers are all over your house- try these on for size: Colander, Slotted Spoons/Spatulas, mouths of glass gars, hula hoops, etc..

Homemade Playdough
**Quick Tidbit! Play Doh was originally manufactured in Cincinatti to be a wallpaper cleaner in the years after WWII! Resourceful school teachers were the first to turn it into an art supply- and the rest is history!! Although it is not particularly expensive, it is much cheaper to mix some up at home- here’s how:
(Super Simple)
1 cup Flour
1/2 Cup Salt
1/2 Cup Water
Food Coloring?
Mix and knead until it forms a ball- Add flour utnil it is the consistency you like. Add food coloring last!
(Better Recipe)
1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoons cream of tarter
1 teaspoon oil
1/4 cup salt
food coloring/ kool aid packet
Mix all ingredients (add food coloring last). Stir over medium heat until smooth. Remove from pan, let cool slightly, and knead until blended and smooth. Store in a plastic bag or airtight container when cooled.
